On the flip side of the coin, Jenna worried that he would think she was clinging to him because she was scared or because she felt somewhat lost. She didn't want him thinking she had interest in him for any other reason than the fact that she found him to be someone she genuinely liked spending time with.

She leaned lightly into his touch, still smiling as he returned the greeting. She pressed another quick kiss to his lips before stepping back. "Now we can go." She chuckled, starting towards the steps.

"So how are you?" She glanced over at him again. "Busy with renovations still?"
